The domestic stock market recorded its first weekly decrease in the last six weeks, with reduced investment activity. The Belex15 index fell by 1.1% to 1,136 points, while total turnover amounted to RSD 895.7m (EUR 7.7m).
The most active stock was the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIIS), which weakened slightly to RSD 820 with a turnover of RSD 15.6m. The company announced its first bond issue, which should be placed by the end of the year. The company plans to issue EUR 50m in corporate bonds with a term of five years and an interest rate of 6.5% annually.
Shares in Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS) fell briefly below the RSD 1,300 level for the first time since mid-September. The stock lost 3% in the week with a solid turnover of RSD 9.2m.
The takeover bid for Tehnogas (TGAS) at RSD 31,250 per share is open till Monday, October 28, at noon. Since the bid was opened, the stock has been trading at RSD 33,000, or slightly above that level. The stock closed the week at RSD 33,005 with a trading value of RSD 5.4m.
Belgrade Airport (AERO), which will announce Q3 results on Wednesday, October 30, weakened slightly to RSD 1,995 with a turnover of RSD 2.3m. Metalac (MTLC) led the losers, falling 5% to RSD 1,900, while Impol Seval (IMPL) gained 1% to RSD 7,800.
