The first trading week of September ended a two-week decline with a modest RSD 61.1m (EUR 0.5m) turnover. The Belex15 index, tracking the most liquid shares, rose 1.4% to 1,217.8 points.

Belgrade Airport (AERO) led trading with a turnover of RSD 16.3m, holding steady at RSD 2,200. The company continues to monitor the concession process of the airport in Belgrade, managed by VINCI. Passenger numbers rose 5.5% in the year’s first seven months.

Metalac (MTLC) had RSD 7.3m turnover and a 2.4% rise to RSD 2,150. The company showed business model resilience in 1H25, despite slower international revenue growth.

Insurer Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS) led the gainers, with a jump of 5.8% to RSD 1,640 and a turnover of RSD 5.2m. The stock’s growth can be attributed to the positive outlook of investors regarding the company’s anticipated announcement of favorable 1H25 numbers, as communicated by the management during the AGM.

Other stocks from the index basket recorded significantly weaker turnover, and Jedinstvo Sevojno (JESV) remained around the RSD 8,500 level. It is anticipated that the company will publish its consolidated 1H25 results by the end of September, following the slight drop in unconsolidated profit announced at the end of July.
