Belex15 above the 1,000 points level again

The domestic stock market rose during the week, with the benchmark Belex15 back above the psychological 1,000-point mark. Total turnover on the market was 379.7 points (EUR 3.2m), while the Belex15 index rose by 1.1% to 1,008.3 points.

The most active stock in the index basket was Belgrade Airport (AERO), which posted a turnover of RSD 18.2m, mainly at the RSD 1,900 level. This company, which oversees the implementation of the concession process for Belgrade Airport, reached a high of RSD 2,100 last year, and then, due to increasing pressure on the sales side, the stock fell below RSD 1,700 at the end of the year.

Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS) continued its upward trend, gaining 4.2% to RSD 1,064, with a turnover of RSD 7.4m. Increased demand allowed Dunav to stay above the RSD 1,000 level last week, where the stock stood after the stock went ex-dividend.

Constructor Energoprojekt Holding (ENHL) continued its series of solid turnovers, increasing slightly to RSD 371 with a turnover of RSD 5.4m. The current share price is around 25% of the value at which Napred took over the company seven years ago.

Gornji Milanovac-based Metalac (MTLC) contributed to the growth of the index with a rise of 4.9% and low turnover, reaching the level of RSD 1,730. The Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIIS) hovered around RSD 800 in one of the weakest trading weeks for the stock, when it did not even reach RSD 2m in turnover.
