Belex continues to grow, half-year results in focus

The domestic stock market has continued its upward trend over the past week with marginal trading volume. Total turnover was RSD 152.1m (EUR 1.3m), while the Belex15 index strengthened by 0.2% to 847.7 points.

The most traded stock was Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS), which slightly increased to RSD 1,324 with a turnover of RSD 26.2m. Last week, the company unexpectedly reported a steep decline in H1 profit. Net income in the period stood at RSD 128.5m, down from RSD 1.1bn in the previous year.

Shares in the Belgrade Airport (AERO) closed the week at RSD 1,500 with a turnover of RSD 4.9m. The company posted a net income of RSD 57.7m in the January-June period, compared to last year’s loss of RSD 32.1m. Alfa Plam (ALFA) ended the week up 3.7% at RSD 20,586 with high volatility. The stock reached at the moment level of RSD 27,485, while the bottom was recorded at the start of the week at RSD 18,500.

Shares in the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIIS) recorded tiny investment activity at around RSD 620 level. Today, the company will pay a gross dividend of RSD 35.46 per share, returning the current yield of 5.7%. Shares in Energoprojekt Holding (ENHL) led the losers with a 3.7% decline to RSD 337. The company posted a half-year loss of RSD 39.8m compared to a profit of RSD 77.7m in H1 2021.
