The domestic share market recorded a slight upward trend for the second week, with much weaker investment activity. Total turnover on the market amounted to RSD 145.9m (EUR 1.2m), while the Belex15 index strengthened by 0.2% to 1,130.4 points.

The most active stock was Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS), which crossed the RSD 1,400 level for the first time since mid-2022. The stock of this largest domestic insurance company jumped 2.9% to RSD 1,420 with a turnover of RSD 8.2m. The company is expected to post significantly better profitability in 2024, which could mean a bigger dividend payment in 2025.

Messer Tehnogas (TGAS) remained at the RSD 34,000 level with a turnover of RSD 2.4m. Last year, Messer launched two attempts to consolidate ownership in the company. Still, they ended unsuccessfully, especially the second offer at RSD 31,250 per share, with just 0.3% of the shares purchased.

Shares in Metalac (MTLC) fell 3.6% to RSD 1,904 with a turnover of RSD 2.0m, while preferred shares in Philip Morris (DINNPB) fell 1.8% to RSD 9,622. The total stock turnover amounted to RSD 1.7m.

Impol Seval (IMPL) led the gainers with a jump of 4.1% and low turnover. The company recorded disappointing 1H24 financial results, so it remains to be seen whether the business environment in the second six months allowed it to achieve positive business.
