A shortened trading week saw extremely low turnover and an end to a two-week downtrend. Total turnover on the market was only RSD 31.2m (EUR 0.3m), while the Belex15 index rose by 0.9% to 1,152.9 points.

The most actively traded stock was Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS), with a turnover of RSD 8.8m, mostly at RSD 1,500. Since Wednesday, the stock has been trading without the right to participate in this year’s dividend distribution, so the price was corrected to RSD 1,461, but on a much lower volume than the expected dividend of RSD 121.45 per share.

Other stocks saw much lower turnover. Belgrade Airport (AERO) reached a new high of RSD 2,200 last week, closing the week at RSD 2,184. The airport in Belgrade, managed by VINCI and monitored by Belgrade Airport, reported a slight decline in passenger numbers for March. As a result, the total passenger count for the first quarter is only slightly higher than it was the previous year.

Philip Morris preference stock (DINNPB) rose slightly to RSD 9,600 on light trading. The company reported a 2.3% drop in profits last year, which will mean a lower dividend payout this year.
