Belgrade Airport (AERO), the former operator of the international airport in Serbia’s capital Belgrade, recorded a net profit of RSD 57.7m in the first six months of 2022, as compared to a loss of RSD 32.1m in the like period of last year, the company announced.

Revenue rose by 10.9% on an annual comparison basis to RSD 348.9m in the period under review, while operating expenses declined to RSD 428.1m from RSD 453.5m, Belgrade Aerodrom said in a filing to the Belgrade Stock Exchange earlier this week.

In March 2018, France’s Vinci Airports signed a 25-year concession contract with Serbia covering the airport’s financing, operation, maintenance, extension and upgrade of Belgrade airport. The concession took effect in December 2018.
