The World Bank said on Wednesday that it expects Serbia’s economy to grow by 2.3% in 2023, affirming its previous forecasts made in January and April.

For 2024, economic growth in Serbia is expected at 3%, unchanged in comparison with the January and April projections, the World Bank said in its June 2023 Global Economic Prospects.

In 2025, Serbia’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth will quicken to 3.8%, according to the World Bank’s forecast.

Serbia’s economy grew by an estimated 2.3% in 2022, the international lender added.

Serbia’s economic output grew by 0.7% in the first quarter, according to a data release from the country’s statistical office last month.
