The BSE saw increased trading volume last week, driven by government bonds. However, the stock market turnover remained negligible. Total turnover amounted to RSD 1.7bn (EUR 14.9m), while the Belex 15 index increased by 0.5% to 1,230.6 points.

The most active stock was Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS), which saw a 2.3% increase to RSD 1,650, generating a turnover of RSD 4.7m. Last week, the central bank published a 1H25 sectoral review of the insurance market, where Dunav retained its leading position with a slight increase in market share to 26.6%. This growth can be attributed to an increase of 1.5pp in its life insurance market share.

Turning to other stocks, they demonstrated significantly lower turnover. Gornji Milanovac-based Metalac (MTLC) saw a 0.9%, reaching RSD 2,200, confirming a multi-year high level. Total stock turnover amounted to RSD 0.7m.

Messer Tehnogas (TGAS) confirmed a historical high level of RSD 37,000, with a turnover of RSD 0.5m. Shares in Philip Morris (DINNPB) declined by 3.9% to RSD 9,318, with a turnover of nearly RSD 1.0m.
