The Serbian stock market continued its slow recovery while total market turnover increased thanks to government bonds. The index of the most liquid stocks, Belex15, rose by 0.2% to 995.4 points, while total turnover amounted to RSD 617.6m (EUR 5.4m).

The most active stock in the market was the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIIS), which gained 0.5% to RSD 849 with a turnover of RSD 47.3m. The company fixed the ex-dividend date for June 14, and shareholders will receive a dividend of RSD 64.26 per share. Interestingly, the stock had traded at a similar level last June when the dividend was almost twice as big.

Shares in Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS) continued their upward trend, reaching RSD 979 on a turnover of RSD 5.3m. Dunav was one of the first companies to hold the AGM, and a dividend of RSD 51.64 per share is due to be paid soon.

Belgrade Airport (AERO) remained at the RSD 1,900 level with a turnover of RSD 2.3m, while Jedinstvo Sevojno (JESV) jumped 12.7% to RSD 7,438. A week earlier, the stock had led the losers after a dividend hike announcement spurred its recovery, but on weak turnover.

Impol Seval (IMPL) led the losers, falling 5.4% to RSD 7,000, while Metalac (MTLC) fell 3.6% to RSD 1,713 after going ex-dividend.
