The past trading week saw a slight uptick in investment activity due to government bonds. Meanwhile, the stock market ended its two-week decline, though turnover remained low. Total market turnover was RSD 342.1m (EUR 2.9m), and the Belex15 index gained 0.4% to 1,213.7 points.

Messer Tehnogas (TGAS) was the most active stock, rising 1.6% to RSD 34,614 with a turnover of RSD 5.3m. This week, the stock is still trading with rights to last year’s profit. The company’s management proposes a flat dividend of RSD 1,115 per share, yielding a 3.2% return.

A slight positive change was recorded in the shares of Belgrade Airport (AERO), which reached RSD 2,000, with a turnover of RSD 4.0m. A similar trend is recorded by the most liquid stock on the market, insurer Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS), which closed the week at RSD 1,903 with a turnover of RSD 2.1m.

On Friday, the US OFAC’s deadline for completing the purchase and sale of a controlling package of shares in the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIIS) expired, and following the deadline, the Hungarian MOL announced that it had received two more weeks, until June 6, to finalize the purchase of 56.2% of the shares in this oil company.
