The domestic stock market recorded a slight recovery last week, but again with weak investment activity despite the announcement of quarterly results of listed companies. The total turnover in the market reached RSD 343.3m (EUR 2.9m), while the Belex15 index strengthened by 0.2% to 878.8 points.

The Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIIS) was the most active stock, with a turnover of RSD 8.9m and an increase of 1.3% to RSD 770. NIS announced solid Q3 numbers, above market expectations. Net income in the July-September period reached RSD 18bn, down 30% compared to the previous year. If the company continues a business trend in the current quarter, this year’s profit could be lower by 50-55%, and the expected dividend in the next year will be around RSD 64-68 per share.

Shares in Messer Tehnogas (TGAS) fell 0.5% to RSD 15,500 with a turnover of RSD 5m, and insurer Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS) continued to oscillate slightly around the RSD 980 level with modest trading value of RSD 1.4m.

After the volatile September and October, Belgrade Airport (AERO) closed the week flattish at RSD 1,800 on modest turnover. After the first ten months, the Belgrade Airport, managed by concessionaire VINCI, reached 6.6m passengers and exceeded the historically best result from 2019, two months before the end of the year.
