The Serbian stock market recovered last week with a higher-than-usual turnover thanks to the block transaction of shares in Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS). Total turnover on the market amounted to RSD 406.7m (EUR 3.5m), while the Belex15 index strengthened by 0.9% to 869.4 points.

The most active stock was Dunav Osiguranje, which recorded a turnover of RSD 6.1m, mainly at RSD 930, up 0.8% compared to the previous week. In the block transaction on Thursday, 1.4% of the total number of shares of the company changed hands at RSD 1,275. The deal was worth RSD 263.6m.

The Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIIS) recorded a modest trading week with a turnover of RSD 5.3m, a slight price increase of 0.3%. Shares in the company have been trading in the range of RSD 720-730 mostly. NIS’ AGM on Thursday adopted all the proposed decisions, including the profit distribution, according to which the shareholders will receive a gross dividend of RSD 143.3 per share. The company fixed the record date on June 19.

Other stocks were far behind in turnover. Messer Tehnogas (TGAS) continued to oscillate slightly around RSD 14,000 with a modest turnover of RSD 0.8m. Metalac (MTLC led the gainers with a jump of 6.7% to RSD 1,600 on low turnover. Also, Impol Seval (IMPL) recorded a growth of 1.6% to RSD 5,600 with a tiny trading value.
