The real growth of the gross domestic product (GDP) of Serbia in Q2 of this year was 4% compared to the same period last year, the Republic Statistical Office (RZS) announced in its estimate.

In Q1, real GDP growth amounted to 4.4%, while the state budget for 2022 planned GDP growth of 4.5%.

A month ago, the government’s Council for the Coordination of Activities and Measures for the Growth of the Gross Domestic Product correctly predicted the quarterly result for the period from April to June.

At that time, it was announced that the economic growth of Serbia in Q2 of 2022 is expected to be four percent, and also that inflation in our country is expected to slow down from July.
