National telecommunications operator, Telekom Srbija, paid out dividends from last year’s profit adopted by the shareholder assembly this year, the company announced through the Central Securities Depository.
Shareholders will receive a dividend of RSD 8.4 per share (totaling RSD 6.72bn), representing slightly over half of the achieved non-consolidated profit of RSD 13.14bn last year.
The company determined the record day on June 20.
The company has been paying dividends continuously since 2014, except for 2019.
Besides former and current employees, Telekom’s shares own 4.8 million citizens who participated in the distribution according to the Law on the Right to Free Shares and Cash Compensation.
The shares had been distributed in 2012, but Telekom Serbia has never appeared on the stock exchange market.
