Belex even deeper in the red on low turnover

For the fourth consecutive week, the domestic stock market has continued to decline, with a notable drop in investment activity. The Belex15 index declined 0.7% to 1,213.6 points, while total market turnover stood at RSD 107.3m (EUR 0.9m).

The most active stock was Belgrade Airport (AERO), which rose slightly to RSD 2,088 with a turnover of RSD 0.6m. Following the recapitalization, the shares of the company have predominantly traded within the range RSD 2,000-2,100.

Shares of insurer Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS) were under pressure last week, decreasing 0.8% to RSD 1,880. The total stock turnover amounted to RSD 2.8m.

Shares in Energoprojekt Holding (ENHL) declined 1.3% to RSD 522 on the eve of the end of the takeover bid at RSD 452.25 per share. The state, as the largest minority shareholder and owner of a third of the outstanding shares, will determine the success of the takeover bid.

Shares in Metalac (MTLC) decreased to RSD 2,050, while Jedinstvo Sevojno (JESV) demonstrated a notable increase of 2.7% to RSD 8,421. The AGM of Jedinstvo approved a dividend of RSD 964.7 per share last week, marking the largest dividend payment to shareholders in the past 15 years.
