Dunav Osiguranje backs the continued growth of Belex

The domestic stock market increased for the third consecutive week, measured by the Belex15 index. This basket of the most liquid shares on the market reached 816.5 points and has recorded a tiny decrease since the beginning of the year. Total weekly turnover on the market amounted to RSD 2.5bn (EU 21.4m), thanks to government bonds.

The most active share was Messer Tehnogas (TGAS), which ended the week at an unchanged price of RSD 12,300. However, in general, the turnover of RSD 29.3m was achieved at an RSD 11,800 level. The Croatian investment fund ZB Invest was a seller in these large transactions in its way to completely liquidate the position in the stock.

Insurer Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS) continued its upward trend with a turnover of RSD 9.3m. Shares in this insurance company jumped 3.8% to RSD 1,146 after falling to this year’s minimum of RSD 1,022 at the beginning of the month.

Shares in the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIIS) posted a modest turnover after investment activity intensified immediately after the announcement of business results for the first nine months. The stock increased by 1.5% to RSD 665 with a turnover of RSD 8.3m.

Shares in Metalac (MTLC) have stabilized slightly below the level of RSD 1,600 on light volume. The company itself continued to acquire its shares after they fell to a six-year low of RSD 1,220 two weeks earlier.

Impol Seval (IMPL) led the losers after the stock fell 5.2% to RSD 4,738 with a small turnover. The stock still carries an excellent yield of 28% in the current year after the company announced a big jump in profitability and increased its dividend.
